Brown Treated railway sleepers are large, sawn cut rectangle sleepers that have been pressure treated with a brown preservative to extend its life when exposed to the elements. Treated with Tan E – a water based preservative. Brown Treated railway sleepers are either Spruce or Pine harvested from well managed sustainable forests, treated with tanalith to class 3 to ensure durability.

Sleepers are a natural products and may experience some splits or bending as they age.
