Fritillarias Meleagris Mixed

Fritillaria meleagris, commonly called the snake’s head fritillary is one of the most distinctive spring bulbs, known for its nodding, bell-shaped flowers with a unique checkerboard pattern in shades of purple, mauve, or occasionally white.

They thrive in conditions similar to damp meadows and riverbanks. They are particularly happy in:

• Moist lawns that aren’t mown until after flowering
• Borders with consistent moisture in spring
• Light shade beneath deciduous trees

• Plant bulbs in autumn.
• Depth: about 8–10 cm.
• Spacing: about 10 cm apart.
